It seems Air Philippines' series of express sales are here to stay. For good? I don't know. Only Air Philippines can answer that.
For the meantime, what we can do is just to enjoy grabbing rare opportunities like this, availing cheap fares as low as P199. How's that?
As shown on the image on the left, routes on sale at a ticket price of P199 include Manila to: Busuanga, Calbayog, Catarman, Masbate, Naga, Ormoc, Surigao, Tuguegarao, and San Jose (Mindoro). If I'm not mistaken, among the mentioned routes, fare for Manila to Surigao route costs the highest (as much as P2,480) if bought on a regular rate. That's almost 13 times the sale price! Hence, I suggest, Surigaonons like me should... take action!
Other routes on P199 seat sale are those involving Visayas areas, particularly, from Cebu to: Iloilo, Bacolod, Tacloban, and Cagayan de Oro. Fare for Busuanga to Puerto Princesa route is also on sale at the same rate.
The following routes are also on sale at a rate of P399: Manila to: Iloilo, Bacolod, Puerto Princesa and Cagayan de Oro.
This two-day seat sale will last until tomorrow, May 20, 2010. But before you grab your mouse and/or dial 855-9000 and/or run to your nearest ticketing outlet, check your calendars first. Will you be available on the covered travel period which is for next year yet, particularly, between January 15 to February 28, 2011?
