Sale on Holy Wed to Fri

I thought yesterday was only April 18.  I thought yesterday was the 1st day of the promo period which Air Philippines recently had before today.  I was surprised when I checked their website this morning and found out that the said promo was no longer there and was instead replaced with a new seat sale.  Good thing, I was still able to get my mother a promo ticket on its last day of sale.

Another of Air Philippines' P898 Seat Sale

I heard Busuanga is a very nice place.  But I wonder, because of its unexplored natural beauty, is it not free from mosquitoes which killed a son of a prominent radio personality?

Nonetheless, Air Philippines is having an P898 two-day seat sale also for the following routes:  busuanga to puerto princesa, davao to cagayan de oro, and zamboanga to cebu, davao, jolo or tawi-tawi v.v.  The two-month travel period will end on June 30, 2011.

I just tried booking a flight for my mama.  After countless tries and almost at the brink of giving up, finally, I was able to get her a promo ticket which costs me P1,342 (inclusive of taxes, etc. of P444).  That's already a good buy considering that regular prices of plane tickets nowadays, as summer is obviously a passenger peak season, reach as much as P6,000++ for Manila-Surigao vv route.

If Only I Could Go To Bacolod..

I haven't been to Bacolod.  There was an opportunity to travel then but unfortunately, the schedule coincided with our upcoming team building err, conference.

Nevertheless, Air Philippines is currently having a three-day seat sale for destinations to Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, including Bacolod.  Except for Cagayan de Oro which promo plane fare is at P998, the tickets to two other destinations cost only P598.  However, travel period, which is between July 31 to September 30, 2011, falls on a school season.  In other words, I still could not go..

I would not have blogged about this.  I have been too busy with my work.  But then, this is too important to miss!  Plane fare for Manila to Surigao, among other destinations, and v.v. is on sale!  The P888 promo fare is less than 50% of the regular fare.
